Developers

Developers want their weeks to be sold but many of them also care very much about their members and about their reputation and in order to fix the problem caused by not reliable marketer they need somebody like Help Line International with experience and the desire to fix it.

It would be difficult to name all the developers with whom we worked during the last 20 years or more.

The relations with many of them started with the disappearance of the marketing company which was selling their product in Russia.

We would like to point out that the majority of the marketers in Russia were honest and dissent companies, but very often the circumstances in which they were working were very risky. There were mafia groups, there was corrupt police and tax offices, there legislation system was only developing and did not protect the businesses; the banking system was not working properly. But the revenues of the new market with low costs and extremely high profits were making the real dangers, problems and obstacles seem not that scary. Wrong. A lot of Europeans lots their successful businesses to Russian mafia. But the real victims of the situations were the clients – the families who wanted to buy the decent product and fully or partially paid on the timeshare contract.

 

The first special salvage program we after we received by post the lists of the families with the details of their timeshare contracts with the company which stopped operations because two mafia groups who wanted to control them did not come to the agreement.

We never achieved to find out who could have sent us these lists. We suspected the girls from the admin department who were sorry for the clients.

We contacted the Developer whose product was selling this marketing company and offered to find the clients and complete the left over business if the Developer would give us a special deal.

 

This is how all of it started. This is what became our main business for some ten-twelve years .

With each marketing company which would disappear, run away or get bankrupt we would contact the Developer to negotiate the special completion conditions for the victim clients. We had also a 50% discount agreement with RCI for the enrolments.  Then we would use all sources including the open advertising in the newspapers, announcement on the doors of their company, we also worked close with the police and authorities in order to find the victim clients. We would invite them in for the one to one meetings to explain what happened and tell them that the resort wants them as well as the exchange company and there is a special salvage offer to get them their timeshare.

Somebody would trust us straight, others took month or even years to come back to us.

In some of the cases we paid ourselves for their timeshare to issue the certificate to gain their trust back and they paid us when they had it in front of them. There was no pressure to make the decision, they could take as much time as they wanted, we offered them to pay to the Trustees, we did not have to but offered the 14-day cooling off period, etc.

It was a business that brings the highest satisfaction.

 

The developer can’t bare full responsibility for the independent marketing company but still wants his product to be provided to the buyer.

We felt that we could help the clients and help the Developers and make some money at the same time.

With some resorts we worked for a short time till we allocate the specific amount of inventory. 

With other developers we worked for many years.

They would provide their inventory to the clients who were buying the other product but where the developer would not give any discounts to the clients of the run away marketing company.
